Our Story

Aidan Ridgway is a Metalworks alumnus who gained experience working in various studios in Hamilton and Toronto as well as recording acts in unconventional spaces with experimental techniques. 

Silver Street Recording aims to continue the legacy started by Dave King (Barn Window Studios) nearly two decades ago. Making it a place for local talent, be it music, art, film or photography, to expand and connect with one another. Our open concept space not only sounds great but is a very welcoming atmosphere for anyone wanting to get away and focus on their creations, whatever they may be.
